SELF took a trip to The Music Center in Los Angeles to ask the dancers of Alvin Ailey’s company which move from his renowned ballet "Revelations" is their favorite. Dancers @constance.stamatiou, @jacquelinh, @pcoke, @yannicklebrun, @awagreen98, and @mauricerenaldo gave us a sneak peek into what is considered a landmark of modern dance. “Revelations” explores the African American experience through an examination of faith, perseverance, slavery, and freedom.
